Almost Home

Welcome, relax and please enjoy the music, the photos and my wonderful journey becoming the woman I am today. I am no different than the person you have known.

My site is to help all the Intersex and LGBTI communities, and society in general to get along.

Many of you out there know me as Shawn, the male version of Shauna, yes there is two of us in one body.

We are proud of what we have achieved thus far. We have came out as of April 2008 after hiding for 35 years.

As April 2009 approaches there is much excitement, Shauna will become legal as a female on paper.

My passion for what I do continues to grow each and every day. I love to break new ground with each new project or group I embark upon.

I am currently writing a book relating to my growing up being stealth, watch for it soon "Soon she'll be home.. ".

I am available for public / private speaking engagements regarding being stealth and how to prevent it.

My passion are as follows, Technology, shoes (I have many), fishing and wrting. I love teaching, spending time with friends and relaxing sometimes. I write to others with more issues than I and try to help them with a helpful ear.

Upon my coming out, people never knew who I really was. I have hidden quite well from something that changed my life.

I have shared my secret with many people in this last year which many if not all never knew I was different.

I can thank my mother for telling me to keep quiet all these years.
People hide because they are truly frighten of what society will do to them.

The fatality rate is high in this country for transgender people because society isn't educated, now they are more aware.

That is the reason for my page, I wish to show the world that we are all the same whether we are black, white, male, female, fat, thin, gay or transgender we are all alike.

Now what would you do if a friend or family member came up to you, and said they were someone else?

Would you ignore them, hate them, beat them, or accept them for who they are?

I have always said, "I have two souls sharing one body", am I so different than you?

I use this saying to explain who I am -

"I don't care what you are on the outside...It's like a CHOCOLATE bar, It's got a new WRAPPER but it's the same Chocolate inside"
